We live in the historic and charming Villa Puebla, which has been featured in both Swedish Gods & Gårdar, and the French TV program Echappées Belles. We are located in France’s most untouched and beautiful national park, Mercantour, and live in the picturesque village of Barcelonnette. We enjoy both the national park and the village during our daily walks and during some of our lunches and dinners.

We start our days with yoga/mindfulness and together with a local yoga teacher we awaken our bodies and creative minds to life at a leisurely pace.

We enjoy luxurious, French breakfasts with freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolat, cheeses from the local cooperative and we land in a wonderful community for the rest of the day.

During our mornings we move into our creative bubble and add to it with a painting course à la Hanna Wendelbo. We learn everything from color theory, the basics of water color painting to depiction. Hanna focuses on curiosity, playfulness and expression when she teaches and shares her passion.

Hanna is a designer with special expertise in pattern design, her fantastic wallpapers brighten up both private homes and public environments. Hanna also has a beating heart for flowers and gardens.

The days end with delicious shared dinners, either at Villa Puebla or at one of the village’s cozy restaurants.
