Home / Culture & Nature
“Culture et Nature en Ubaye” offers a unique artist residency experience in the heart of the French Alps, welcoming creators from across the globe to create, relax and get inspiration by the intersection of art, culture, and nature. With two central objectives, this dynamic program seeks to inspire artists while fostering cultural and environmental awareness.
Elevating Arts and Crafts: Engaging with both local and international talent, the association offers a stay for artists where they can create as well as connect with the rich cultural heritage of the region. Through exhibitions, workshops, and residencies at Villa Puebla, creators have the opportunity to share their work with the community while drawing inspiration from the stunning natural surroundings and the historical Villa Puebla.
At its core, “Culture et Nature en Ubaye” is more than just a residency—it is a vibrant hamlet where art, culture, and environmental awareness converge. Nestled in the serene Ubaye Valley, it provides the perfect space for artists to expand their practice, exchange ideas with peers, and build lasting connections to both nature and community. Whether you’re looking to create, collaborate, or reflect, this residency offers a transformative experience in a place where creativity and the natural world thrive together.
